No, Totally

April 27, 2015

Today is Do My Taxes Or Else Day, which means I’m torn. I can either write a really long, involved blog post about something or other and successfully put off my taxes for at least a few more hours, or I do something short and sweet and get things over with sooner.

So here’s an article from the New Yorker about language change, colloquial English, and phrases that are more than the sum of their parts. I find this stuff fascinating, and the way it’s laid out in the article it wonderful. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
